With the new year and new marriage, we have turned a new leaf. We are trying to eat better and cook more. We are also trying to each more whole foods; whole wheat, fresh veggies, no hydrogenated oils, trans fats, or high fructose corn syrup (which – by the way – is in EVERYTHING!). Look on the back of stuff in your fridge or pantry. High fructose corn syrup is literally in almost everything, some of which really shocked me. It’s in bagels (even the WeightWatcher ones), most breads, yogurt, even pasta sauce! No wonder we’re the fattest nation ever. Buy natural & organic and you’re usually safe.
We’re also working out more. Well, to be fair, Rob is working out more. I have been sleeping my lazy @ss in. But I’ll make up early one of these days. Promise!! Seriously though, Rob is really rocking it. He has been getting up at 5am and going to the gym 2-3 days per week. GO HUBS!!
